STORE POLICIES & STANDARDS
At Ages of Scripture, our policies are built around a simple principle: historic treasures deserve to be represented honestly, handled carefully, and entrusted responsibly.
AUTHENTICITY & HISTORICAL REPRESENTATION:
Authenticity and honest representation are fundamental to Ages of Scripture.
Each artifact is carefully examined and described based on our research, knowledge, and available documentation. We make every reasonable effort to accurately represent an artifact's age, edition, provenance, condition, completeness, historical significance, and other material characteristics.
Whenever available, supporting documentation such as Certificates of Authenticity, provenance records, bibliographic information, and historical research will be identified and provided with the artifact.
CONDITION & COMPLETENESS:
Antiquarian Bibles and historical artifacts have often survived for centuries. Signs of age, wear, repairs, restorations, inscriptions, staining, binding changes, missing or replaced pages, and other imperfections may be part of an artifact's history.
We make every reasonable effort to disclose significant condition issues, alterations, and completeness details in each individual listing.
Because every historic artifact is unique, we encourage prospective collectors to ask questions and request additional photographs or information before completing an acquisition.
DOCUMENTATION & PROVENANCE:
The documentation available for each artifact will vary according to its history and circumstances.
When available, we may provide Certificates of Authenticity, provenance documentation, bibliographic references, previous ownership information, historical research, or other supporting records.
We will clearly identify the documentation associated with each individual artifact and will never represent documentation as more extensive or conclusive than it actually is.
RESEARCH & DESCRIPTION:
Historical research is an ongoing process.
We strive to provide accurate and well-researched descriptions based upon the information reasonably available to us at the time an artifact is offered.
If new information comes to light that materially changes our understanding of an artifact, we are committed to reviewing the information and making appropriate corrections or updates.
Our goal is not simply to present an attractive object, but to provide an honest account of the history and characteristics of each treasure.
PRESERVATION & HANDLING:
Every artifact is handled, stored, and prepared with consideration for its age, materials, construction, condition, and historical significance.
Our goal is to preserve each piece while respecting the condition and historical character it has acquired throughout its life.
SHIPPING, INSURANCE & SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION
Ages of Scripture takes great care in preparing every artifact for shipment.
Antiquarian Bibles, historical leaves, manuscripts, and other artifacts are professionally packaged using appropriate protective materials to help safeguard them during transit.
Complimentary insured shipping is provided on all purchases of $500 or more. For purchases below $500, shipping arrangements and any applicable costs will be communicated prior to completing the acquisition.
Because we handle irreplaceable historical artifacts and rare Bibles, we prioritize maximum security for every acquisition. Every shipment valued at $500 or more is insured and requires signature confirmation upon delivery. This helps protect your rare item from the moment it leaves our archive until it is safely in your hands.
Signature confirmation helps protect both the collector and Ages of Scripture by providing documented confirmation that the package was received.
Each shipment will include tracking information so the collector can monitor its progress.
For especially rare, fragile, or high-value artifacts, additional shipping precautions may be used as appropriate to the nature of the piece.
We believe every historic treasure deserves the same level of care and protection from the moment it leaves our custody until it reaches its next caretaker.
RETURNS & AUTHORIZED RETURNS:
If an artifact arrives damaged, or if we discover that a material condition, historical detail, or other significant characteristic was unintentionally misrepresented, please contact Ages of Scripture before returning the item.
We will work with you in good faith to determine an appropriate resolution.
No artifact should be returned without prior authorization from Ages of Scripture.
If a return is authorized, the artifact must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, using appropriate protective packaging and, whenever reasonably possible, the original packing materials.
Authorized returns should be shipped using a trackable and appropriately insured service. Specific return instructions will be provided when a return is approved.
Any return, refund, or cancellation terms applicable to a particular acquisition will be communicated as part of the transaction.
PURCHASES & TRANSACTIONS:
Because antiquarian Bibles and historical artifacts can vary considerably in age, rarity, condition, provenance, completeness, and value, certain acquisitions may require additional communication before the transaction is completed.
Specific payment, shipping, insurance, return, and cancellation terms may be provided as applicable to the individual acquisition.
CORRECTIONS & GOOD-FAITH RESOLUTION
If we unintentionally overlook a material condition issue, historical detail, or other significant fact, we ask that you contact us promptly.
We are committed to reviewing concerns carefully and working in good faith toward a fair and reasonable resolution.
PRIVACY:
Information submitted through Ages of Scripture will be handled with care and used for legitimate business, communication, transaction, and website-related purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Use of the Ages of Scripture website and any acquisition made through the website is subject to our Terms & Conditions.
